Closing Press conference of the 12th Petersberg Climate Dialogue

  • The final press conference of the Petersberg Climate Dialogue was held with German Environment Minister Svenja Schulze and the UK's designated chair of COP26, Alok Sharma.

    The twelfth Petersberg Climate Dialogue ended with a call to make this year's global climate conference in Glasgow a success and to finally resolve all outstanding issues in the rulebook under the Paris Agreement. Some 40 ministers from around the world had joined together via video conference on May 6 and 7 at the invitation of German Environment Minister Svenja Schulze and the president-elect of the 26th UN World Climate Conference (COP26), Alok Sharma.
