The FachDialog 2, which was held by the German Federal Ministry of the Environment in Berlin in April 2012, dealt with the (potential) implementation of nano-databases, notification requirements for nanomaterials and nanoproducts and the relation between these with (potential additional) labelling provisions. The aim of the dialogue was to promote an exchange of opinions among the stakeholders on these topics with view to the on-going activities in some of the EU Member States and at EU-level.
