Integrated Regulatory Review Service (IRRS)

In response to the TEPCO Fukushima Dai-ichi Nuclear Power Plant (Fukishima) accident, the IAEAdeveloped a new module within the framework of the IRRS programme to review the response ofthe German nuclear safety regulatory body, the current lessons learned from the accident, and itsapplication to the German regulatory system.
