Attention: In a
ruling of the European
Court of Justice (PDF, 108 KB) of 1 April 2008 point 2 of the Annex to the above-mentioned Commission Decision was
annulled. According to the ruling, the effects of point 2 will be maintained until 30 June 2008 inclusive. Consequently, as of
1 July 2008 the prohibition of the use of polybrominated diphenyl ethers pursuant to Article 5 para. 1 of the Electrical and
Electronic Equipment Act (in line with Article 4 para. 1 of Directive 2002/95/EC) will also include DecaBDE.
