Implementation model for an IT system for electronic waste-records procedures

The Federal-Länder Working Group (BuLäAG) "Simplification of Supervision under Laws Pertaining to Waste Management" ("Vereinfachung der abfallrechtlichen Überwachung") has made proposals for simplification of all regulatory areas of the Act for Promoting Closed Substance Cycle Waste Management and Ensuring Environmentally Compatible Waste Disposal that are relevant to laws pertaining to supervision, and it has prepared the pertinent subordinate provisions.

This applies especially to the existing proof / records procedure involving keeping and use of records of proper waste management, consignment notes, handover certificates and record books. In this context, the BuLäAG has found that lasting simplification in this area can be achieved solely through suitable use of electronic tools, instead of paper and forms.
