Declaration by Naturallianz (Nature Alliance)

We have joined together in Naturallianz in order to speak up collectively for biological diversity and nature conservation.
The diversity of nature is the foundation of life for everyone and the basis for global economic development. It is a model for technical innovation and helps to protect the climate. 40% of global trade volume relies on using natural resources, 10,000 to 20,000 plant species are used in medicines worldwide. Services provided by forests, such as clean water and climate protection, secure the livelihood of around 600 million people in developing countries.
